London-based media agency Creatilogic contacted Moktan Productions when they were looking for a video production company in Seoul to shoot a film for Alipay. This was the second time we have collaborated with both companies and we were excited to work with them again.

As is the case with all video creation, detailed planning was needed as we had a very small crew and limited time with the talent so it was important to make every minute with them count.  We used our Red 5K Scarlet-W and 6K Blackmagic cameras to cover the footage for the day and the combo allowed us to keep our A-Cam on the Ronin and have the B-cam jump back and forth quickly between tripod and handheld work so as to cut down on rigging time.

Part of the challenge here was that the client wanted the footage to avoid showing Korea directly so, during the street scenes, we had to be very careful to avoid/defocus any identifiable signs of Korea.  

The project was a success, and the client was super pleased with the footage we were able to deliver. We hope to work together again in the near future!

Thankfully our sponsored Nanlite 650c was strong enough to balance out the sunlight coming through the blinds and capture the light and airy look the client wanted
