ZEST Event Shoot

For their new bar opening Moktan Productions was approached by ZEST, a beautiful fine-drinking cocktail establishment that features some of the greatest bartenders in Seoul. ZEST is a zero-waste business that aims to assist in transforming the bar industry toward a more sustainable approach.

As a video production company in Korea, we were asked to shoot a promotional video on the 6th March which was their opening event for their Seoul venue. The event was a big success, and, through the use of carefully placed LED panels, super fast lenses, and subtly placed bounce, our team was able to get amazing footage without disrupting the guests' experience despite the extreme low-lighting conditions. 

Due to the very small we were working in and budget management we opted for the super-compact GH6 which was perfect for capturing the night in a non-invasive way. For smoother and more dynamic shots we used the dji RS2 stabilizer from time to time, which also works well in a crowded event such as this. 

As a production company in Seoul, we like to work on a wide range of projects. We want to show our clients throughout the world that we love taking on projects of all sizes and always devote the same level of excitement and attention to detail in order to deliver the highest standard of film production here in Korea.

The client was very delighted with how we were able to run the production process and we look forward to collaborating with them again on future film projects.

Our crew members had to make sure not to disturb the proceedings during the evening so keeping a small and non-intrusive camera set-up in order to capture different angles was essential for an event such as this.
